Hannah Miller Named New St. James Elementary School Principal

We are pleased to announce Hannah Miller has been named Principal of St. James Elementary School, effective January 1, 2025.

Mrs. Miller currently serves as our St. James Elementary School Counselor. She is originally from Cumberland, Wisconsin, and has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a master’s degree in school counseling.

Before coming to Regis, Mrs. Miller taught at Chippewa Falls High School, was a PK-5 School Counselor for the Eau Claire Area School District, and worked for three years as a crisis counselor for Wisconsin's emergency services.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband, Travis, being on the lake, cooking and baking, watching sports, and being an auntie.

“It is both an honor and a privilege to be named the principal of St. James Elementary School,” Mrs. Miller said. “St. James has felt like home for me since my very first day as the school counselor. I am committed to providing a safe, caring, and conducive learning environment for all children. My goal is to support the continued journey of community, collaboration, growth, and excellence that has been established at St James. I am proud to be part of our excellent staff who care for our students and help them to succeed every day. I encourage you to stop in or call to share ideas, concerns, or questions as we embark on this new journey together.”

Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Linda Schultz, the current Interim School Administrator at St. James Elementary School, will work together over the next few months to prepare for the transition. Mrs. Schultz will remain in her position through December 31, 2024.

“I want to thank Mrs. Linda Schultz for her willingness to step up and become the interim principal of St. James Elementary School,” said Paul Pedersen, Regis Catholic Schools President. “I also want to express my appreciation to the staff at St. James Elementary School for their commitment to our students and families. St. James is a strong school community and I look forward to having Mrs. Miller leading it into the future.”

We ask you to keep Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Schultz, and our entire Regis Catholic Schools system in your prayers during this transition.
