Mrs. Brissette has been with the Regis Catholic Schools system for eight years; having taught 5th grade at St. Mary’s Elementary School for the last six years and 5th grade at St. James Elementary School for two years prior.
Mrs. Brissette obtained a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from UW-Whitewater and a Master’s Degree in Education from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Additionally, she received her license in special education and administration from Educate-WI. She describes herself as a lifelong learner who loves to find new opportunities to grow and gain new knowledge to apply to her career.
“I am excited to be stepping into the role of principal at Immaculate Conception Elementary School,” Mrs. Brissette said. “Throughout my time with Regis, I have come to see firsthand how special our schools are, with opportunities to help students grow both spiritually and academically. I feel privileged to be a part of the Immaculate Conception Elementary School staff and look forward to an excellent year!”
In addition to taking on the principal role, Mrs. Brissette will start her first year as a Regis parent, as her son will be in kindergarten at Immaculate Conception Elementary School in the fall.
“One element I am really looking forward to this fall is getting to meet and know the families who make Immaculate Conception Elementary School great,” Mrs. Brissette said. “My favorite part of working in schools has always been the opportunity to develop relationships with students and watch them grow through each school year. I will pray this summer that all students and families can find time to rest, enjoy their time off, and be ready to jump into a fabulous school year in the fall.”
Mrs. Brissette is taking on this new role after Mrs. Bahnub, the previous principal at Immaculate Conception Elementary School, took on a new role as our Enrollment & Tuition Coordinator.
We ask you to keep Mrs. Brissette and our entire Regis Catholic Schools system in your prayers during this transition.
